DAE flip on the moon landing after actually reading the Apollo transcripts?
Three weeks ago I was deep in a rabbit hole about the Apollo 11 footage and I figured the lighting looked off, so I was ready to call it fake. Then a buddy at work in Fort Worth told me to pull the actual mission transcripts from nasa.gov instead of watching clips, and I spent about 9 hours over that weekend reading the air-to-ground loops. The weird light I was hung up on got explained by the lunar module's window coating and camera exposure, and the transcripts showed guys calling out real problems in real time, like a 1202 alarm with only seconds to decide. I still think some conspiracy stuff out there is worth looking at, but this one broke on me because the boring primary source beat every clip I'd watched. Curious if anyone here has ever had a source pull them the other way. What's the one piece of evidence that made you drop a theory you used to believe?
