The RGB cable nightmare at PAX East changed my setup forever

I was at PAX East in Boston last month doing a local LAN tournament, and three of the rigs kept losing display signal mid-match. Turns out the cheap extension cables with those clip locks were pulling loose from the GPU due to the vibration on the table. I swapped to braided cables with locking tabs and zip-tied them to the case frame, zero drops after that. Has anyone else had this silent killer ruin a tournament run, or is it just my bad luck?
