Switched from my old Xbox to a $700 PC build and now I get it

I was team console for like 15 years until my buddy let me try his rig with a 144hz monitor last November. The smoothness on something simple like Rocket League made me feel dumb for all the 30fps I tolerated. So I saved up and built a mid range PC with a used 3060 ti off eBay. It took me 3 nights to put together and I almost gave up on the front panel headers, but now I can't go back. Anyone else make the jump and then realize their old console was holding them back?
