Spent $200 on a 'gaming chair' I saw on TikTok
Thought I was getting some pro level comfort for my PC setup. Chair showed up and it's basically a plastic lawn chair with fake leather straps. My back hurt after 30 minutes of Forza. Ended up using my old dining room chair again. Anyone else fall for those influencer ads?

...and that's exactly the problem with these influencers. They get paid to sit in those chairs for five minutes and say they're amazing, but nobody actually tests them for a full gaming session. I saw an ad for one that looked like it had actual lumbar support, but when it arrived it was just a thin piece of foam glued to the back. Ended up putting a rolled up towel behind my lower back like I'm back in college. The worst part is people think they're getting a deal because it's "sponsored" or on sale. Really it's just a $40 chair from a warehouse with a markup because some TikToker put their name on it. I've started just watching the comments on those videos before buying anything, that's where the honest reviews are.
