PSA: turn vsync off before you blame the console for input lag

I blamed my PS5 for years for feeling sluggish in shooters until a buddy in Phoenix had me turn off vsync on his TV and try a match. The difference was night and day, my shots started landing and I stopped yelling at the controller. How many of you are running game mode with vsync still on without knowing it?

Man I did the exact same thing for way too long and just thought my TV was bad. You probably saved a bunch of people from buying a new controller for no reason.
