Picked up a used Xbox Series S for $200 instead of building a new PC
My old gaming rig finally died last month (RIP GTX 970). I was gonna drop like $800 on a budget PC build but my buddy offered me his Series S he barely used. Honestly it plays everything I want and Game Pass saved me a ton. Only downside is I miss mouse aiming for shooters. Anyone else go console after being a PC guy for a while?

You mentioned missing mouse aiming for shooters. What games specifically are you playing where that's bugging you the most? I switched from PC to console a few years ago and found that some shooters have surprisingly good aim assist on controller, while others like Siege or CS are just painful without a mouse.

Nah I gotta disagree with you on that one. Aim assist can feel way too heavy handed in games like Apex or Call of Duty, it almost plays itself sometimes. On PC you have full control and if you miss, it's on you period. Siege on console is straight up broken without mouse aiming, but even with aim assist, stuff like Overwatch or Valorant just feel wrong with a thumbstick. The precision just isnt there for flicking or tracking at high levels. I get why people like controller for comfort but for actual skill expression, mouse is the only way.
