My PS5 fan started screaming after the 3.0 update, anyone else hit this?
Last Tuesday my console sounded like a jet engine during a quiet cutscene, I had to pull the side panel and vacuum out dust bunnies that looked like they'd been breeding since launch day, has anyone found a permanent fix or should I just send it in before the warranty runs out?

That vacuum trick works for a bit, but it's like putting a band-aid on a broken pipe. If you're anywhere near the warranty end, send it in now because the fan bearing is probably cooked and it'll just get louder no matter how clean it is.
