Just realized my buddy's 4K TV take was actually right

My buddy Dave kept saying console graphics matter more than frame rates when we were arguing about PS5 vs my PC last Tuesday. He pointed out that most people sit 8 feet back on a couch and can't tell 120fps from 60fps anyway, and that hit different because he's the guy who never upgrades anything. Is chasing high refresh rates really worth the extra $800 on a GPU when a $500 console on a decent TV looks just as good to most eyes?
