I finally switched to console after 15 years of PC gaming
I used to think 60 fps was the bare minimum. Built my own rigs since high school. But last month I sat down at my buddy's PS5 and played Spider-Man 2 for three hours. No tweaking settings, no driver updates, no crashes. Just turned it on and it worked. The 30 fps took maybe 10 minutes to get used to. Now I'm selling my 3080 on eBay. Has anyone else made the jump and regretted it later?

Oh man, I feel this one! I did something similar a couple years back. I had this whole gaming PC setup with a 2070 Super and I was constantly fiddling with graphics settings in games like RDR2. Then I grabbed a Series X on a whim and it was just... nice. I mean, maybe it's just me but I actually kinda like not having to worry about whether my framerate is gonna tank in a busy area. Plus not having to update drivers every other week? That alone was worth it for me. The only thing I kinda miss is modding games like Skyrim but honestly, most stuff I wanted to do now has some console equivalent anyway.

The transition makes a lot of sense, honestly. Spent years messing with config files for Arma 3 and still getting stutters, while my brother's Xbox just ran stuff fine out of the box. That trade off of tweaking for hours versus just playing the game gets old after a while. 30 fps feels weird for maybe a day, then your brain just adjusts and stops caring. Hope the 3080 sells quick, those cards still go for decent money.
