Finished a 12,000 square foot slab in one day with my crew of four
We poured a massive warehouse floor in Boise and got it all bull floated, edged, and broomed before the sun went down. I was sure we'd need a second day, but everything just clicked. Has anyone else pulled off a pour that big with a small team?

Nice. We did a 10,000 footer for a farm equipment shed last fall with just three of us. Had two guys running screeds and I handled the power trowel. The key was having the mix timed perfectly, no waiting around.

Three people for that much concrete sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Yeah that's a serious amount of work for four guys. I was reading a trade magazine article last month about how crews are getting smaller but pours aren't, and it all came down to planning and mix delivery timing, just like nora said. They talked about having the trucks staged so one is always ready to go, no dead time. Makes sense, because once that mud starts setting up you're in a race. Huge credit for getting it all finished in a single push.
