Swapped my old screwdriver kit for a magnetic bit set, night and day on bench work
Used to carry around a 40 piece ratcheting screwdriver set from the hardware store. Constantly dropping screws into tight spots, especially on laptop hinges and phone boards. Picked up a magnetic bit holder with 60 bits and a flexible shaft about 3 months ago. Now I can guide screws into place without touching them, and switching between Phillips and Torx takes 2 seconds instead of digging through a case. The old kit sits in my drawer now. Anyone else make the switch to magnetic bits and never look back?
Bought a Wera magnetic bit holder about a year ago and yeah the flexible shaft is the game changer for me too. Tried going back to my old kit once when I left the magnetic one at home and it felt like working with oven mitts on.
