Rant: spent 6 hours chasing a random shutdown on a Dell Optiplex and it was a $2 CMOS battery
Kept swapping RAM sticks, reseating the CPU, even flashed the BIOS twice before I thought to check the coin cell, and I used to tell new guys those batteries only cause clock issues, so has anyone else been burned by a 'that can't be it' part?
