Rant: I used to swear by paper service logs for every repair

For like 10 years I kept a spiral notebook on my bench, writing down every drive model and failure code by hand. Then last month I went full digital with a shared cloud spreadsheet because the shop owner kept losing my notes. Does anyone else feel like the old paper method was actually faster for quick lookups?

So you're telling me @jake_chen basically lost a part of his soul when he ditched the notebook? I feel that. My old spiral had coffee rings and thermal paste smudges that basically served as a second filing system. Now I gotta scroll through a spreadsheet and remember which drive I called "weird clicking one" while the boss is breathing down my neck. Paper might have been slower to write in, but at least my handwriting never prompted a "file not found" error.

Honestly, switching from paper felt like losing a piece of my brain too.
