Guy at the repair shop told me to just reflow the GPU instead of replacing it, saved me $250

I was ready to toss my whole rig after the screen started glitching, but some old-timer at a local shop in Austin said try the oven trick for 9 minutes at 385, and it's been running fine for 3 weeks now, has anyone else actually had that work long term?

Tried the oven trick on my old card too, ended up with a smoking GPU and a burnt dinner lol.
