Dropped $80 on a magnetic screw mat for the bench and it's a total game changer.

No more chasing tiny screws across the floor when I'm pulling a laptop apart. It's just a simple gray mat with a grid, but it holds everything in place. Anyone have a good trick for keeping track of different screw sizes on these things?

That's the move right there. Seriously, why are we all still dumping everything into one big pouch? Saw a guy with those little screw-top containers, the kind for spices maybe. Each one had a piece of tape with "1/4 inch bolts" or "small springs" written on it. No more shaking out the whole bag just to find one specific washer. Game changer for real.

Oh that's a great idea! I bet you could use those little bead containers or even old pill organizers. It would keep all the small bits from getting lost in a big bag. Labeling them would save so much time digging around for the right piece. Honestly might try that myself now.
