A guy at the Peoria repair shop showed me a 5 dollar trick for stuck laptop screws
He rubbed a rubber band flat over the screw head and the screwdriver bit right into it, popped out a stripped screw I had been fighting for 20 minutes. Now I keep a pack of wide rubber bands in my bag, does anyone else have a cheap go-to for stripped screws?

Rubber bands work but they're not a 5 dollar trick. You can grab a whole bag for a buck at any dollar store. The "trick" is free once you got em laying around the house. Also the wide ones matter more than people think, the skinny ones just tear when you press down.
