TIL the Navy has a 90 foot deep dive school in Hawaii

I was looking up training options last night and found out the Navy's dive school at Pearl Harbor pushes students to 90 feet in open water by week two. That is way deeper than I thought for initial cert phases. Has anyone here trained with military divers or gone through that kind of early depth schedule?
