Rant: an old sat diver in Galveston told me my bailout bottle setup was backwards, now I can't stop second guessing it
He looked at my rig on the dock last month and asked why I run my bailout on the right when every guy on his crew ran it on the left for a faster reach. Half the divers I know say it comes down to what feels right in the hat, the other half swear there's one correct way and everything else is a bad habit waiting to bite you. So which is it, personal preference or is one side actually wrong and we're all just too stubborn to switch?
That line about "every guy on his crew ran it on the left" is funny cause my old sup used to yell at guys for copying the crew instead of testing their own reach on the dock. Turned out he ran his on the right too, so who knows lol.
