Question about how I read comics now versus 20 issues ago

I used to hit my local shop on Wednesdays and read floppies same day, but now I wait 6 months and binge whole arcs in one sitting because single issues at $4.99 just kill the story pacing for me, so do you still buy monthly or have you gone full trade wait like me?

Man, I did the exact same thing but mine started with the last big crossover event. I got so lost in the middle of it that I just stopped reading for a couple months, then sat down one weekend with the whole stack and it finally made sense. Funny how the wait made it better, not worse. Now I grab a full arc every few months and the stories land way harder than when I was piecing them together a month at a time. My shop guy still gives me a hard time about missing the Wednesday rush, but my wallet sure does not miss it.
