My first signed comic got coffee spilled on it at a con

Happened Saturday at the Denver Comic Fest. Brought my Ultimate Fallout #4 variant to get signed by a creator. Some dude bumped into me, his latte went everywhere. Cover is ruined now. I was so mad I just walked out. Anyone else have a collectible get wrecked at a show?

Gotta gently push back on calling it Ultimate Fallout #4 if it was a variant... those are technically different books with different covers, even if the story's the same inside. I feel your pain though, I brought a beat-up copy of Spider-Man #1 (the 1990 one with the hologram cover) to get signed once and some kid knocked my soda all over it. The signature bled through the cover and it looked like a crime scene... still got it framed in my office as a reminder to keep drinks far away from my bag at cons.

Friend of mine had a graded Amazing Spider-Man #300 get knocked off a table at a con. The case cracked and the book got a big crease down the middle. He just stood there staring at it for about five minutes, totally speechless.
