Can we talk about that one Saturday at the comic swap meet where I found an original printing of The Killing Joke for $12?

I pulled it from a dollar box buried under some beat up Wizard magazines at the county fairgrounds in Phoenix and the guy running the table actually said 'oh that's just a reprint' so he didn't even check the price guide, but the paper quality and colors were spot on for 1988, has anyone else ever scored big from a seller who clearly didn't know what they had?

The glue on that spine didn't yellow at all for a supposed reprint?
