Vent: dropped $1,800 on a coding bootcamp after I left school, and the career office never called me back
I left my state school halfway through sophomore year because I hated my major and didn't want more debt. A few months later I paid $1,800 for a 12 week coding bootcamp in Columbus that promised job help. Finished it in March, sent my resume to their career office 4 times, and got one reply, a form email. The bootcamp taught me enough to build stuff on my own, but nobody hired me off it. Did a bootcamp actually get you a job, or did you have to go back to school like I did?
