Trading my dorm meal plan for a $30 crockpot was the smartest thing I did

After I dropped out in March 2020, I kept buying cafeteria passes for $90 a month out of habit until a friend in Austin said "why not just cook once a week" and now I make 5 days of chili and rice for $12 total, has anyone else realized how much they were overpaying for bad food?
