The moment I realized college was just a expensive delay tactic
Tbh I was sitting in a sociology lecture at 9am on a Tuesday, watching the professor read slides from 2003, and it hit me: I was paying $15,000 a year to postpone real life. My buddy who dropped out 6 months earlier was already running his own small moving crew making $4k a month. What convinced me to leave was when I calculated I could learn the business side of things on YouTube and forums for free, versus sitting in debt for 4 years. Has anyone else had that one boring class that just snapped them out of it?

Forget the class, it was watching my buddy stack cash with zero debt that broke the spell for me.

Wouldn't seeing someone you know actually pull it off make you rethink everything? I used to be all about debt being a tool, but watching a buddy buy a house with no mortgage halfway through our twenties really shifted my whole view.
