The day I walked out of my Art History final and never went back

I was sitting in the exam hall at UT Austin, staring at a slide of a 15th century painting I could not name for the life of me. My professor had spent an hour last week talking about the artist's use of shadow and I just snapped internally. I packed my bag, dropped the test on her desk, and walked to my car. Got a job at a print shop the next week, and honestly I am still figuring things out 3 years later. Anyone else hit that exact breaking point where you just knew you could not sit through another class?

Wait, wasn't that artist actually known for using light instead of shadow in that period? I dropped out of community college for similar reasons and never regretted it.
