The 40% stat from the state workforce office finally made me feel less dumb about leaving
Everyone says dropouts are doomed, but a pamphlet at the state workforce office in Cleveland said about 40% of people who leave a 4-year school finish a certification or trade program within 3 years. My welding cert took 14 weeks and cost $2,100, less than one semester of the tuition I was paying. Did anyone else get pushed toward a trade by a random piece of paper like that?
