Shoutout to the temp agency that got me my first real job after I left school

Honestly, I was broke and applying to 10 places a day for 3 months with no calls back until they placed me at a logistics company in Charlotte. Has anyone else found a decent path through a staffing service?

Totally agree, they saved our butts last quarter lol. We had a huge project land out of nowhere and needed three temps fast. The agency had people in here within 48 hours. One of them was so good we ended up hiring her full-time. It was the only way we could have hit that deadline without everyone losing their minds.

Hit the nail on the head. We had a similar panic last spring when a client dropped a fire drill on us at the last second. Called the agency Friday afternoon, had two temps at our desks Monday morning. One guy was such a natural at the software we were using that he basically taught the rest of us a few tricks. Ended up keeping him on for six months after the project wrapped. Honestly without them we would have been screwed.
