PSA: My boss in Denver said 'you're the best tech we have' and I was still in my first year after dropping out
That was the moment I realized college had me convinced I was behind, when I was actually already doing the job. Anyone else have a boss or client give them a reality check like that?

Honestly, that line about being convinced you were behind hits home. I see this all the time where people, myself included, get stuck comparing their start to someone else's middle. Tbh, a lot of "being behind" is just a story we learn from school and then keep telling ourselves long after the class is over.
