My freelance client list completely dried up last quarter
I had three regular clients all end their contracts within two weeks of each other in March. I'm scrambling to find new work and it's making me question if dropping out to freelance was the right call. Anyone else hit a rough patch like this and have tips for finding new gigs fast?

My buddy had this exact thing happen last year. All his retainer clients ghosted him in the same month. He started posting one quick case study every single day on LinkedIn for two weeks straight. Landed two new calls by the end of it.

My attempts at "being consistent" on social media usually end up like my last diet, three days of enthusiasm followed by a lot of excuses. At least your buddy followed through, I once posted every day for a week and just got a like from my mom. Maybe the secret is just being too stubborn to quit after everyone ghosts you.

Ugh I totally disagree with that case study spam approach. Posting every single day just makes you look desperate and annoys your whole network. People scroll right past that stuff. It's way better to take a breath and reach out to old contacts personally. A real conversation beats a hundred posts that nobody reads. You need to rebuild trust, not just shout into the void.
