My family still thinks I made a huge mistake leaving school in 2021
I was at community college in Spokane, and after two semesters I just couldn't see the point of more debt for classes I hated. I got a job helping a local electrician, and now three years later I'm making $28 an hour as an apprentice. My parents bring up 'going back to finish' at every holiday dinner, even though I'm doing fine. Anyone else have family that just won't let the dropout thing go?

I used to believe that leaving school was always a mistake. But hearing you're making $28 an hour as an apprentice really changed my mind. That's a solid path they should respect.

Totally changed my view on dropping out too.
