My cousin got her whole freelance design business started because someone saw her doodle on a napkin. Maybe it's a weird compliment, but they must trust your vibe.

Question if it's really that deep though. A freelance gig from a latte? Plenty of people get random offers like that, most don't pan out into anything real.
