Had a chat with my old prof about my dropout decision
Ran into my econ professor at a coffee shop last week. He said dropping out was 'strategic' not failure, but I still feel like I bailed on something important. Do you guys think there's a time limit on going back or is the door always open?

Did your prof happen to mention that feeling like you bailed never really goes away? I dropped out of my biology degree three years ago and still get that weird knot in my stomach when I see campus. The door's always open but it gets rusty - I went back to visit the registrar last fall and they said my credits were still good, which was wild to me. Then I started poking around online classes and realized I could actually finish a degree part time while working, which I never even considered before. It's like the door doesn't close but you gotta put in a little elbow grease to push it open again.

Wow, @the_beth, did you actually sign up for any online classes after that, or are you still just thinking about it?
