Flunked out of community college in 2019, now I run a landscaping crew of 6 and make more than my old professors
Honestly, I spent 3 semesters at Mesa Community College chasing a business degree I never even wanted. My dad kept saying I needed that piece of paper. Then I failed accounting twice and got put on academic probation. The day I got that letter in the mail, I just sat in my truck for an hour. I already had a part time gig mowing lawns with a beat up mower I bought off Craigslist for $200. So I said screw it, dropped out the next week, and started taking on every yard in Scottsdale I could find. Five years later I've got 3 trucks, 6 guys, and I just cleared $210k last year. My old advisor still sends me emails about finishing my degree. But I've got a waiting list of clients and my guys get paid every Friday. Was dropping out the right call for anyone else, or am I just the lucky exception?
