Can we talk about the $1,200 I dropped on a coding bootcamp two blocks from my old dorm?

I quit school in 2019 and figured a 12 week bootcamp near the UT Austin campus would get me a job faster than my last two semesters combined. It burned me at first, since the job hunt dragged on for 8 months and I was delivering pizzas just to cover rent. But I still use the stuff I learned there on job sites, mostly for bidding software and invoices, so I guess it evened out. Anyone else pay for a program like that and have it go sideways, or did yours actually pay off?
