Switched from a French press to an Aeropress and wow what a difference

I used to think the French press gave the best flavor until I tried an Aeropress at my friend's place last Sunday. The coffee came out way cleaner with no grit at the bottom. Has anyone else made the switch and felt the same way?

So I tried the Aeropress for the first time last Tuesday at my sister's house and I was Honestly shocked. It was SO much smoother than what I was getting from my French press at home. My only question is how much of a pain is the cleanup with the little plunger thing and the filter paper? I hate washing extra parts but the coffee was so good I might have to deal with it.

Oh @holly898, it's actually easier than washing a French press plunger!
