Rant: Spent $80 on a fancy burr grinder and it clogged on day 3
I thought I was leveling up my morning routine with this new hand grinder from a local shop in Portland. First two days it was smooth, then on day 3 it seized up with some dark roast beans. Took me 20 minutes to disassemble and clean it out. Kinda wish I just stuck with my $20 blade grinder from the grocery store. Anyone else have a pricey coffee tool that let you down early?

Oh man, I feel this so hard! I dropped $130 on an electric burr grinder last year and on day 5 it just started spewing chunks of bean everywhere. Took me an hour with a toothpick and a brush to get the chamber clean. My cheap blade grinder from Target never gave me that kind of drama.

Got a blade grinder from a garage sale for like five bucks, and it's been going strong for three years now. I mean, I gotta hold it at a weird angle so the lid stays on, but hey, it works. Took it camping once and used it to grind pepper for steak too, so that was a bonus.
