Guy at a Tacoma diner asked why I drink my coffee black and his follow up stuck with me
I was grabbing breakfast at a diner in Tacoma two weeks ago and the guy on the stool next to me watched me wave off cream and sugar, then asked if I actually liked it that way or just never tried anything else. I said black was just how my dad drank it, and he told me he roasted beans at home for a bit and that most people never taste what is actually in the cup because they cover it up out of habit. Now I am wondering how many of my coffee choices are real and how many are just inherited, so what got you into drinking yours the way you do?
