That $40 Udemy course finally clicked for me last night

I bought a Python basics course on sale three months ago and kept zoning out during the loops section. Last night I rewrote a dumb script for renaming my music files and it actually ran without errors for once. Anyone else have a random moment where something just suddenly made sense after struggling for weeks?

42 years old and I've been using computers since DOS. I'm not sure clicking "rename" on a few files warrants any kind of breakthrough or celebration. It sounds like you followed a tutorial step by step and it finally compiled without a typo. That's not really a "click" moment, that's just patience.

Totally feel this, it's like your brain finally connects the dots after letting it marinate. Happens to me all the time with random stuff like learning a new phone app or figuring out a shortcut at work.

@rosel83 Yeah exactly, letting it sit is usually the trick. Just gotta step away for a bit and then it clicks without even trying.
