Rant: everyone in my Python class puts import statements inside their functions and I don't get why
I keep seeing this in the intro course I'm taking online, people stick import math inside every single function instead of at the top of the file. My instructor said it slows things down and makes the code harder to read, but nobody in the class Discord seems to care. Am I missing some reason people do this, or is it just a habit from tutorials?
