I spent $30 on a Python course and it was a total game changer
I got the 'Automate the Boring Stuff with Python' course on Udemy for about thirty bucks. It showed me how to write a simple script to rename a bunch of files at once, which saved me hours of manual work. I was stuck just reading about code before, but actually making something that helped me made it click. Has anyone else found a specific course or book that got them over the beginner hump?
My buddy tried to learn woodworking by just reading. It finally clicked when he made a simple birdhouse, just like you said about building something useful. He uses that thing every day to hold his mail.
