I saw a coffee shop in Portland with a sign that said 'We run on code and caffeine' and the Wi-Fi password was 'hello_world'

That's a solid combo. My local spot had the password 'null' for a while. It was funny until you had to explain it to every confused customer. They switched to 'coffee123' which is way less fun but way fewer support calls. The trick is finding that sweet spot where it's clever but not confusing.

My old gym used "guest" for years and it was the perfect low-friction option.

Totally get that struggle! My favorite cafe used "password" for months and it caused so many chaos. People would type their actual password and get locked out. There's a real art to picking something that makes regulars smile but doesn't trip up new people. "Coffee123" is boring but honestly, boring works.
