Didn't realize how many JavaScript frameworks actually exist until I counted them last night
I was looking up what to learn after HTML and CSS and stumbled on this list of JavaScript frameworks. There's like over 80 of them now? React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, plus a bunch I'd never heard of like Ember and Backbone. I thought there were maybe 5 or 6. How do beginners even pick one without getting overwhelmed? Has anyone here felt stuck deciding?

Stick to React first then branch out later.

I read somewhere that the guy who made Svelte actually said learning vanilla JS first is better than jumping straight into any framework. Makes you think about how quick we all are to just pick up React without really understanding what's happening under the hood. I get why people say stick with one thing though, it's easy to get overwhelmed if you try to learn everything at once. But React changes SO fast that sometimes it feels like you're learning a new framework every year anyway. Maybe mixing in some pure JavaScript practice on the side isn't such a bad idea, it keeps you grounded. Still, I respect the focus approach, just don't lock yourself in a box forever.
