The time I choked on a 2-foot putt during league night
Last month at Riverside Golf Club I had a 2-foot putt on the 18th hole to win the season match. I lined it up perfect but my hands got shaky and I yanked it left, missed completely. Lost the match by one stroke and my partner still gives me crap about it every Tuesday. Anyone else have one shot or play that totally wrecked your reputation with your group?

Riverside Golf Club, huh... that's a tough track on the back nine especially. A 2-footer to win the whole match, man that's brutal. I'd still be thinking about that putt in the shower a month later, not just on Tuesdays.

Funny how a 2-footer can feel like the pressure of a 10-footer when the match is on the line. Gray is right - that one putt probably circles back in your head more than the round itself.
