That moment I had to choose between hitting the buzzer beater or passing to an open teammate in a rec league game last night

I was wide open for a three with 3 seconds left but my guy was cutting to the basket, so I froze and passed it to him, he fumbled it and we lost by 2, what would you have done in that split second?

Had a buddy who did the exact same thing last month, passed to a teammate who wasn't even looking and it bounced off his back. I mean, in that split second you just gotta trust your gut, but idk, maybe it's just me but I'd rather go down shooting than watch someone else mess it up.

Is it really a bad decision if you end up with a firsthand story about a ball bouncing off a teammate's spine, @nora_park72? That's basically free entertainment for the rest of the bench. Besides, going down shooting sounds cool until you airball it and your buddy never lets you forget.
