Went from daily plastic water bottle buys to a 2 liter refill routine, saved $35 this month
I used to grab a 1.5 liter plastic bottle every morning from the gas station near my bus stop in Austin. That was about 6 bottles a week, maybe 26 a month. Last month I bought a 2 liter steel bottle for $28 and now I fill it at the tap before work. I add a little lemon juice to make it taste less flat. So far this month I've spent zero on bottled water. The weird part is I don't even miss the plastic taste. Anyone else switch to refillables and notice their trash bin gets way lighter too?
