Watching my team fly cross-country for a one-hour talk

Last week, my department sent five people on planes to another state for a short presentation. This added a big chunk to our carbon footprint for no good reason, since we have video calls. What steps can we take to push for less travel in our company?

Ugh, that’s such a typical overcorrection. One team messes up and suddenly everyone’s buried in paperwork forever. It happened at my last company too, where a simple day trip needed three forms signed. Makes you wonder if the hassle is even worth it.
