Traded my gas truck for an ebike cargo hauler, 3 months later
I had to pick between keeping my 2008 F-150 for farm runs or switching to a used cargo ebike for town trips. I went with the bike for anything under 15 miles, like grabbing feed or hitting the hardware store. It cost me $1,400 plus a battery swap after a wet week, but I'm saving about $60 a month on gas. The real shock was how much faster I move through traffic and how little I miss the truck cab. Anyone else swapped a vehicle for a bike and found the math works out differently than you expected?
