That 'reusable' cup I bought is a total greenwashing joke

Ngl, I dropped $25 on one of those fancy collapsible cups last spring thinking I was helping the planet, but after 6 weeks the hinge cracked and it's now in the landfill I was trying to avoid. The company calls it 'endlessly reusable' but won't even take it back for recycling, and their customer service just sent a generic 'sorry' email. Why do we keep pretending these single-use alternatives are climate wins when they're just another plastic product with a nice label?

Buy sturdy steel ones instead. Plastic always fails. Lesson learned.
