Actually, that sponge idea is a bit off. The tech I read about injects CO2 into the wet mix to make it stronger, not pull it from the air later. It's more about trapping the gas during production so it doesn't escape.

Wasn't there a company trying to make concrete that actually pulls carbon out of the air? I saw a short video about it, where they were adding some special stuff to the mix. It sounded pretty wild, like the concrete could act like a sponge. I guess the hard part is making it cheap enough to use everywhere. It's crazy how much we rely on such a simple material.
