I finally tried growing my own lettuce in a little kitchen setup... total fail
Bought a $35 indoor grow light and some seed starter pods from the hardware store last month. Followed the instructions to the letter, kept them moist and under the light for 12 hours a day. After 3 weeks, I got these sad, spindly little sprouts that just flopped over and died. Turns out I was watering them wrong and the light was too far away. Anyone else waste money trying to start seeds indoors only to end up with nothing?

That light wasn't bright enough for lettuce anyway, need a stronger one.
